Malek’s Story:

Malek is a very special boy. He suffers from autism since infancy and at the age of 6 years he was diagnosed with Embryonal Rhabdomyosarcoma (RMS) type of cancer, while having a growing bump on his chin. His father lives in London and could not come to Beirut to be with him. With a lot of courage, he completed surgery, chemotherapy and radiation, and joined his father in London, where he pursued his swimming and football activities.

Type of cancer: Embryonal Rhabdomyosarcoma /intrathecal risk of the mandible/ autism

Age when Diagnosed: on 18/4/2019 – 6 years old
