For its annual Christmas party this year, CHANCE Association collaborated with Beirut Lotus Lions Club represented by its President, Mr. Ricardo Malakian and in the presence of the Lions District 351 Governor, Mr. Boutros Aoun, to organize a special event to spread joy among sick children on December 22, 2022.
For this event, children with cancer and their parents were invited to the Lions Charity Center in Sin El Fil which turned into a big stage for dancing, singing and having fun away from the hospital atmosphere.
The event began with a dinner, followed by a performance by renowned Lebanese artist Nicolas El Osta of a collection of his Christmas songs. This was proceeded by the distribution of gifts offered by M2 Megastore among the winners of CHANCE’s annual calendar drawing competition and a beautiful show by Lola with colorful Santas. The event concluded with the distribution of gifts offered by Beirut Lotus Lions Club to the children and memorable photos with Santa Claus and volunteers from CHANCE association.
In her speech, Dr. Farah emphasized that childhood cancer is highly curable with cure rates reaching up to 80% and despite the dire economic and financial situation in Lebanon, CHANCE is working hard to ensure that financial difficulties are never an obstacle to the treatment of children.
Christmas is a time of love, hope and giving and CHANCE Association along with Beirut Lotus Lions Club are dedicated to bringing smiles to the faces of all children, regardless of their health condition.
