The program spanned over two days and included lectures and discussions led by experts in the field along with six hands on training workshops on palliative care with the team from Switzerland.

The conference was very successful in providing insights into the latest strategies and techniques used in approaching this topic and future steps towards tackling the diagnosis and management of pain in pediatric populations. It also delved into the importance of alternative medicine in the form of yoga, spirituality, art therapy and applications of virtual reality that have been proven effective in reducing pain and suffering in children.
